Oracle EBS, Fusion, ClinicalOne — validated end to end.
Financials, supply chain, and clinical modules — validated with a CSA lens and a defensible reduction of low-value scripted tests.

Oracle validation covers the database and application layers supporting GxP processes, typically as a configured commercial product. The focus is the configuration applied, data integrity controls at every point where regulated data is created or changed, the audit trail configuration, and the access model — rather than re-testing core product functionality Oracle has already tested.
Outcomes you can expect
- Oracle module scope + risk
- CSA test strategy
- Traceable evidence pack
Oracle Validation is delivered by our validation & compliance services practice. Where it saves time, the team uses our products: GxP Copilot for validation lifecycle work and TraceDraft for clinical documentation.

Oracle E-Business Suite and Fusion in Regulated Environments
Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and Oracle Fusion are deployed in GxP-regulated organisations primarily for financial management, supply chain, quality management, and in some cases clinical data management. The GxP validation scope depends on which modules touch regulated data: Oracle QMS and Oracle iProcurement as used in pharmaceutical supply chains carry direct GxP impact; Oracle Financials as a standalone system carries indirect or no GxP impact. A defensible Oracle validation strategy begins with a scope determination that correctly identifies the GxP boundary within the Oracle estate.
Oracle's product validation lifecycle is complex because EBS and Fusion are large, highly configurable platforms with thousands of standard transactions. The CSA approach — leveraging Oracle's own testing for standard functionality, while focusing customer testing on the configured and customised layer — is essential for keeping Oracle validation efforts manageable. Oracle's standard configuration library and its Oracle Validated Integration certification programme provide evidence that can be leveraged to reduce customer OQ scope for standard functionality.
Oracle ClinicalOne: GCP Validation for Clinical Data Management
Oracle ClinicalOne (previously Oracle Clinical and InForm) is used in GCP-regulated clinical trial environments for eCRF design, patient data capture, safety data management, and clinical data management. Validation of Oracle ClinicalOne follows ICH E6(R3) GCP principles, 21 CFR Part 11, and EU Annex 11 requirements for electronic clinical records. The GCP validation scope is distinct from GMP validation in one important way: the primary assurance concern is the integrity of patient data, not manufacturing product quality — which means the validation strategy must be designed around clinical data integrity rather than batch record accuracy.
Our Oracle ClinicalOne validation practice covers study build validation (verifying that the eCRF design is implemented correctly for a specific study protocol), data transfer validation (verifying that data exports to SAS and regulatory submission formats are complete and accurate), and upgrade validation (confirming that standard study builds remain compliant following Oracle platform upgrades). We maintain a reusable base validation package for Oracle ClinicalOne that significantly reduces the per-study validation effort.
